For technical reasons library view mode available on newer Kindle models **don't** display covers embedded in e-book file but use special cover cache. And that cache is **not** updated when file is manually sideloaded by dropping it to _Documents_ folder.
To have proper cover in library view one of two things must be done:
1. Kindle need to be connected to computer during **KCC** conversion. This way cover cache will be updated automatically. After that files can be sideloaded normally.
2. KCC created MOBI file need to be uploaded through [Calibre](http://calibre-ebook.com/). Just make sure that book record have proper cover set before uploading.
